The chalet at Badgers Rest was absolutely charming! It had a cozy and homely vibe that made us feel right at ease. The kitchen, equipped with a stovetop, electric kettle, and microwave, was a great bonus for us as we love to cook and enjoy our own meals. the room had a warm and inviting atmosphere that made our stay truly enjoyable.
Personally, we found the stovetop to be a bit outdated and difficult to use. But hey, we understand that others might still find it perfectly functional and enjoy cooking on it.

I had an amazing stay at this cabin. It had everything I needed and was very clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic, with a peaceful atmosphere but still within walking distance to the village. The hot tub was great and added to the overall experience. The hosts were friendly and supplied exceptional goodies at an additional cost.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

What an incredible stay we had at this cozy wood cabin nestled in the beautiful South Downs countryside. The attention to detail in Badgers Rest was exceptional, from the tasteful decoration to the high-quality bedding and towels. The peaceful and private outdoor space was perfect for enjoying the stunning surroundings, and we loved having our own fire pit and hammock. Despite being immersed in nature, the village of Alfriston was just a short walk away, with its charming cafe, pub, and shops. We even had the chance to indulge in some delicious goodies provided by the hosts. Although we didn't opt for the hot tub, there were plenty of other activities to keep us entertained. It was truly a magical and rejuvenating experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem in the South Downs countryside.

Amazing location in the beautiful South Downs countryside with great walking trails nearby. the wood cabin was stunning and had all the necessary amenities, including a cozy wood burner. the outdoor space was huge and private, with a fire pit, hammock, and lots of wildlife. It was magical to sit under the stars by the fire, listening to the owls. the owners were friendly and relaxed, making us feel welcome and safe during our stay.
The hot tub was not included in the price and had to be paid for as an extra. the noise from the cars on the nearby road could be heard at times, which took away from the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.
